Prof. Amgad El-Baz El-Agroudy

Prof. Amgad graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt in 1984. In 1997, he received a Medical Doctorate in Internal Medicine in Egypt. He has achieved several fellowships from the American College of Physicians (FACP) in 2012, from the American Society of Nephrology (FASN) in 2012, and from the American Society of Transplantation (FAST) in 2018. He is currently a Professor and Chair of the Internal Medicine Department at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Arabian Gulf University, and a Consultant Nephrologist at King Abdulla University Medical City in Bahrain. He is also a Professor of Nephrology at the Urology & Nephrology Center, University of Mansoura, Egypt. He has published over 88 articles in peer-reviewed indexed journals and delivered over 100 presentations and lectures at various local and international conferences. He serves as an Editorial board member in 4 clinical journals and a reviewer in 6 academic medical journals.

Dr. Hawazen Rawas

Dr. Hawazen Rawas completed her PhD in Cardiac Diseases Nursing (Cardiac Rehabilitation) from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, in 2015, where she also earned her Master of Science in Nursing. She later obtained a Master of Medical Education from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in 2018.
Dr. Rawas currently serves as Associate Professor and Director of the Nursing Department at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain. She has extensive leadership experience in nursing education, curriculum development, quality assurance, accreditation, and competency-based program design, and has led the development of undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs.
She also serves as Chairperson of the Cardiac Diploma Examination Committee at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and has contributed to the Saudi Nursing Licensure Examination since 2017.
Dr. Rawas has published extensively in national and international journals, with research interests focusing on acute and critical care nursing, cardiac rehabilitation, nursing education, simulation, evidence-based practice, and healthcare quality improvement.
